Recruiting at Capital
Capital Lacrosse Club is one of the premiere girls lacrosse clubs in the country, placing more than 70% of players into college programs.
The recruiting process at Capital starts with education and setting proper expecations of players, parents and coaches. This is done through open and honest discussions about player abilities, grades, test scores and a strong understanding of effective lines of communication with all coaching staffs, including club, high school and college coaches.
Starting in 9th grade, Capital educates families about the process and what expectations parents and players should have each of the three years that they participate in the program as they go through the college lacrosse recruiting cycle. As recruiting has accelerated at younger ages, laying the proper groundwork from the start is imperative.
Capital Members can review member-only support documents on this section of the website that complement meetings and conversations the club has with parents at our many recruiting meetings. To view the documents, you must be a member and also be logged into the site.
Keeping track of college camps and clinics can be complicated. Members of Capital Lacrosse Club have access to the vast list of camps and clinics that we are notified of by the top collegiate programs nationwide. By no means is this an exhaustive list. It is ultimately a player's responsibility to ask the coaches of the schools they are interested in when their next camp or clinic will be held or which ones they are attending as staff or evaluators.
College Coaches - If you would like your camp listed for Capital players, please send an email to Execdirector@capitallacrosseclub.com. Please provide all the necessary information so that our players can find their way to your camp.
GOALIES: If you’d like to receive information about the "Between the Pipes" goalies clinics please email: email@example.com to subscribe.
