If you would like to avoid 270 during rush hour, the alternative route is:
Beltway (495) to River Road Exit. Take River Road West towards Potomac. Continue beyond Potomac Village to a Right on Esworthy (you will pass Piney Meetinghouse, Stoney Creek and Travillah roads before reaching Esworthy).
Follow Esworthy to the end and turn Right on to Route 112 (Seneca Road). Follow Seneca Road to its end and turn Left on 28 (Darnestown Road). Go about 1/4 mile and turn Right on Route 118 (Germantown Road). The entrance to Soccerplex is on the Left after about 2 miles or so. (There is a white and blue big round sign which says South Germantown Recreational Park or something to that effect next to the entrance. After you turn Left, you will follow the road through the park until you come to a traffic circle. To get to the main complex where the stadium and fields are, you want to go 1/2 way around the circle and then continue through the park. About a 1/2 mile beyond the traffic circle, there is a huge parking lot next to the Indoor facility.
